Meet Wallace, my grandpa.

Wallace Stories began with my grandpa and a retirement book I found after he passed. Inside were photos and plenty of inside jokes. To me, he had always been my witty Grandpa. But in those pages, I met the young designer he once was: creative, silly, even sparking a new office romance with my Grandma.

I realized how different it would have been to grow up with that version of him too, to know his dreams, fears, and the path that shaped him. As a child, I read stories filled with characters who taught lessons through their adventures. What I didn't know then was that some of the richest stories were already around us.

Wallace exists to bring those stories to light. We turn the people you love into the characters in their story. So their humor, heart, and humanity can be shared across every chapter of life.

What we believe

What representation looks like to us.

To us, representation means a child gets to be fully themselves on the page. Their wheelchair, hearing aids, leg brace, or other differences are part of the picture. The story can be about an adventure, a friendship, a grandfather's garden. But their identity is there naturally, just as it is in everyday life.

Family stories are worth passing down.

The people you love have stories that shaped them. The traditions your family keeps, the places that matter, the way your grandmother used to say goodnight. Those details are worth more than any fictional character. We help you put them in a book so they don't get lost.

Every book gives back.

A portion of every Wallace book is donated to community organizations we believe in, from disability advocates to children's hospitals. These are the people who show up for the families we build books for. We're choosing our partners now, and we'll share who we support and how much we've given as the program grows.
