To us, representation means a child gets to be fully themselves on the page. Their wheelchair, hearing aids, leg brace, or other differences are part of the picture. The story can be about an adventure, a friendship, a grandfather's garden. But their identity is there naturally, just as it is in everyday life.
Family stories are worth passing down.
The people you love have stories that shaped them. The traditions your family keeps, the places that matter, the way your grandmother used to say goodnight. Those details are worth more than any fictional character. We help you put them in a book so they don't get lost.
Every book gives back.
A portion of every Wallace book is donated to community organizations we believe in, from disability advocates to children's hospitals.
