These terms cover using wallacestories.com and ordering a Wallace Stories book. We've written them in plain English, because terms you can't understand protect no one.
Who we are
Wallace Stories is a Texas Public Benefit Corporation. We create personalized children's books, professionally printed and shipped to your door. You can reach us anytime at melissa@wallacestories.com.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older to place an order. Keep your sign-in access to yourself, and make sure the details you give us are accurate.
What you're buying
Every Wallace book is made to order: an original story and original illustrations created from the details you share, printed as a physical book and shipped to the address you give us. Because each book is made from scratch for one child, production begins shortly after you order.
Your photos and stories
The photos and memories you share stay yours. By uploading them, you confirm you have the right to share them, and you give us the limited permission we need to use them to create your book, print it, and show it in your account. We don't use them for anything else without asking you first.
Your finished book
The printed book is yours, made for your family's personal enjoyment. Please don't resell or commercially reproduce its contents. The Wallace Stories name, website, and illustration styles belong to us.
Pricing and payment
Prices, shipping costs, and any taxes are shown at checkout. Subscriptions (the Birthday Book and Growing Story) renew automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us, and your subscription stays active through the period you've already paid for.
Returns and replacements
Because every book is personalized, we don't accept returns or exchanges. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing mistake, email melissa@wallacestories.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement at no cost.
Our promises and their limits
We work hard to make every book right. Beyond that, to the fullest extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
